Winter is for the birds

I'll be so glad when winter is over It's especially bad when you're older Daylight Saving Time can't come soon enough This getting dark at 5:30 is rough The high price of the electricity to pay for climatic duplicity, Is getting to be a pain you know where Plus I feel like my body's in disrepair Winter is for the birds, Where do they go? I have no words I envy them so, they can just fly South While I must set a guard over my mouth I'm really so tired of being cold And watching the heat bill is getting old Wearing my coat inside is sad but compared to the heat bill, not so bad Sometimes it's hard being in a good mood When I'm not working I'm eating food So cold I don't want to drive to the gym But if I don't I won't stay slim and trim Winter is for the birds, Where do they go?
