Like a snowflake, like a shell, Unique, unrivaled, nonpareil More coveted than the richest treasure More blissful than the greatest pleasure Over all the wealth on earth combined The Father God chose humankind God's bounty, God's prize, His ultimate joy To have and to hold in His employ Forever and ever in heaven above to pour out his mighty, magnificent love How could we reject Him? How could we deny this offer so generous and opt for a lie? Why do we evade Him, avoid Him and run When He sacrificed all in the death of His Son? Our failures, our pain, our sadness and grief With our disappointments melt in relief His kindness is more than we ever could earn Surrender is all that we need to learn God's bounty, God's prize, His ultimate joy To have and to hold in His employ Forever and ever in heaven above to pour out his mighty, magnificent love
