Where Is Imagination?

I heard Kris Kringle say

"Imagination is a place,"

But it must be far away

And take up little space

It's been so long since I was there

I no longer know the way

The path is overgrown with care

In the Land of Yesterday

Can someone tell me, please,

If you can relate,

Where I might find the keys?

If so, don't hesitate

If imagination is a place

And if it has a door

Seems it has gone without a trace

And I can't find it anymore

It's gone and I miss it so

Where happy endings dwell

A place I used to go

When things weren't going wlell

One day, Imagination,

Our paths will cross again,

I'll find that destination,

I just can't tell you when.
