Seemingly disconnected thoughts might someday fit together Like pieces of a puzzle strewn 'round in stormy weather. Why do some people write and some people read? They both must be looking for something they need. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" is not in the Bible. And maybe your heart is in need of revival. The Shepherd looked inside my heart and said, "There are some books in there you haven't read." "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, And the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it" (John 1:1-5). Today I asked him how he was, and this is what he said: "Not well..."Maybe I'll just drop dead." "Oh, no, you can't do that until you come to Jesus," I suggested. "I love you for trying," he said, "But you're wasting your time." "Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words" (Proverbs 23:9). Is a fool simply someone who has not believed, or is a fool Someone who thinks they're wise, but disregards the Golden Rule? "I know one day I'm going to regret not coming to visit more," he said, as he walked out the door.
