Revive Us Again

Thought I'd share some thoughts I wrote on this day maybe 2019 or so? Maybe by the time the Millennials' kids grow up the gospel will have been preached to al the world... When the church becomes more like... 1. 12-step recovery and less like finger pointing and judging 2. a sanctuary and less like a tribunal 3. a support group and less like the country club 4. a family and less like a clique 5. a home and less like a rock concert 6. More loving and less leaving 7. More like a gathering in front of a fire and less like a shouting match in the street 8. When the lost see us caring for our own and others 9. When the focus becomes more on relationships and less on politics 10. Less on what God can do for us and more on how we can love one another better 11. More humility and less recognition 12. When the world sees us loving one another Maybe then God will give us revival. "You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier" (2 Timothy 2:3-4).
