"I'm still alive," she said, Her words still ring inside my head Next time, she said, "It went by so fast," If only we could make it last But life comes and goes in its own time, Without reason, without rhyme We have no answers to such pleas In life and time, few guarantees "I'm still alive," she said, Why do these words stay in my head?
