What in the World is Wrong With People Today?

I'm just tired of the world right now. I wanted to say, "What in the world is wrong with people today?" And then I figured it out. The world is what's wrong with people today and always. People have become so nasty and impolite and cruel and crude, not to mention evil and violent and just plain hateful. And right here is our answer. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:1-7). This passage is the best summary in the whole Bible of what people are like today. They have obviously been that way since the first century BC. So, what else is new, right? Well, tonight, I am going to leave it at that. Bottom line: what's wrong with people in the world is the world. This world. This world's god is not God. Jesus came to love the world back to God the Father by dying for our sins and rising from the dead. If people can't believe that after more than 2,000 years, I don't know when they're ever going to believe it. The patience of God astounds me. And that is all I have for now.
