I Will Endure the Loss of My Green Pen

Is anybody else OCD about their pens? My favorite pen is the Pentel RSVP pen (fine point, black). A few years ago Big Lots had a bunch of them with little plastic tubes with different color camouflage and other interesting printed designs with black and white and grey.They had other bright colors: blue, lavender and green. So like I would lose them all the time, so I started carrying more than one. I got up to four or five but the deal is I love the green one. So I kept it separate and always knew where it was.

Now I have lost it. I thought I had left it on my desk at work but it's not there so NOW I've had to use one of the several predominantly black and white ones. I did read in Jesus Calling today that you're supposed to just say, "Oh, well" when things like that happen. You know, these little irritations, she called them. Little irritations? Oh, Okay, and aren't you supposed to post very spiritual things on Facebook all the time?

I can hear it all now: "Don't you have anything else to obsess about besides losing a pen?" Yes, and I suppose you never obsess about anything dumb? I heard that: "I have more important things to post on Facebook than something dumb like that.!"Okay, whatever.

Anyway, I do have another green one at home in the original package. So I will endure.
