Fat Kansas (hope not to offend but I like the alliteration)

Fat Kansans

(hope I don't offend anyone; I just like the repeated short a-sound)

Heard on NPR this morning that Kansas has the 7th highest rate of obesity in the country. Well, that's a no-brainer if you consider:

1. Kansas also has the 7th best sunsets in the world.

2. Topeka has a Frito-Lay Plant.

3. Topeka has a Mars plant.

Therefore, if you sit and eat potato chips and M & Ms and watch the sunset what's going to happen? Obesity! Duh...

Well, what else is there to do in Kansas? Watch the Buffalo roam? Not many of them left to watch.

So, obesity is an option when you consider what else there is to do around here.

I know I've stepped on some toes now. Sorry. Made me laugh this morning thinking about it.
