'Stop comparing bathrooms to water fountains. No really. Stop it.'

"Stop comparing bathrooms to water fountains. No really. Stop it."

Saw the above when I looked up this topic...Only saw one link about this but I am simply aghast that people would compare segregating bathrooms by gender at birth with segregating drinking fountains according to skin color.

I don't even want to delve deeper into this. It's just too incredibly insane.

There is no comparison. People wanting to go in bathrooms of the opposite sex because they want to be the opposite sex is about as different as can be from being born black and being barred from drinking from "white" designated drinking fountains.

If you can't see this, there is really not much more I can say. I hope some day we could have a conversation about this but I'm just shocked to see that out there. I just am...
