Aren't You Glad God is Merciful?

I really know what it means when they say broken people can help broken people. Whenever I hear a teacher or a para say something about how disorganized some kid is, I think of me and I cry inside. And laugh too. It really is funny. Nobody ever taught me that. And millions of dollars are made by people who write books on how to be organized. Well, guess what. I never will be. So, forget it. I will always be trying to learn and it won't be by reading a book. It will be by experience and meanwhile  I can help my little disorganized friends at least by helping them straighten out their papers (pulling the paper over the edge of the table straighten, I mean)...

Another thing is showing mercy  through natural consequences. My one little friend in kindergarten was not in the mood to work today so he didn't finish his project by the time the teacher rang the little wind chime saying it's time to switch. Some of you know how emotional little kids can be. Well this little guy burst into the most desolate of tears because of not being able to finish his project in time. I could have said,"Well, that's what happens when you refuse to work and don't start with everybody else..." But I didn't say that. I did say, "You came late. That's why you didn't get finished. But it's OK. You can finish it on Thursday." Aren't you glad God is merciful to you when you don't do everything perfectly? I am.
