Little Red Car
I had a nice dream about you last night
Should I call you up or should I just write?
I don't know your number, you don't know mine
So, I guess I'll just write one more line
Me at your side, you at the wheel,
I couldn't decide if it was real
I can remember it all quite well
Even so, not much to tell
Just move right over, no space between
Right up close, like a sardine
Out on the road not going far
Just riding around in a little red car
Did you see a big bridge back there
Across a big river high up in the air
There's another one up ahead
Nothing to fear, nothing to dread
I've had dreams like this before
So sweet I couldn't ask for more
No shame, no blame, and nothing to hide
Can we make it happen, you decide
Just move right over, no space between
Right up close, like a sardine
Out on the road not going far
Just riding around in a little red car
