I hear a melody I do not recognize I feel the Holy Spirit pouring over me How many ways, how many days, how many times Before I enter into eternity? You are God, You made all things in the universe All of creation owes its existence to You How can I express in a chorus and a verse The longing for the world to know it's true Simple faith believes that in me You can delight Simple faith believes that faith will become sight Simple faith that You came to show me the way Simple faith that You could be coming any day I am not alone among the stars in heaven Not a grain of sand, a shell along the shore But designed and birthed from your divine expression I'm not lost and without God anymore Simple faith believes that in me You can delight Simple faith believes that faith will become sight Simple faith that You came to show me the way Simple faith that You could be coming any day "Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me" (Psallm 42:7)
