Identity Based on Sexual Preference?

Would you have believed 50 years ago people would be organizing and marching and parading and making movies motivated by their identity being what sex they're attracted to? You know, maybe those of us who are heterosexual should do the same. Call it the Hetero Pride Parade and hold banners that say "And a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife," and have women dress as brides in white dresses (symbolic of sexual purity) and grooms in tuxedos, (representing elegance and respect). Golden rings that represent eternity and remind people that marriage is a representation of God's relationship with his people through Christ the Lord...the Risen Savior of the world who came to save us from everlasting doom because of our sin.

I mean, you know? But of course then we would be labelled bigots and probably cause a riot.

I mean since when has what people do in the bedroom become the basis for their identity? I mean, think about it. Is this crazy or what?

Marching in the street saying, "I'm hetero and I'm proud." No, this is just crazy.

People are not what sex they're attracted to. They're people with sin that needs forgiven. All of us. But then of course that's not popular either.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believed in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
