As for toxic folks throwing poisonous darts,
don't stick around after it smarts
Let them go as soon as you can
if they won't listen or shake your hand.

The battle is not with flesh and blood
So no need to join them in slinging mud
If they won't back down or relent
chances are they're not going to repent

Shake off the dust, Say 'bye if you must
But get out of the way, don't be ashamed

But don't stick around while they take better aim

Pray for your enemies, that's for sure
but if you sense their heart's not pure
don't be a bulls-eye for their mess
stay on the path of righteousness

After they're gone their poison remains
Unfortunately, they leave nasty stains

and get away once they start!
