Of Course Pets Go to Heaven
Anyone who doubts whether pets go to heaven or not must be using their Western mentality and not their heart and not their Biblical analysis hat either. I have studied this a lot and although I don't KNOW it for a fact (since I have not been to heaven yet), there is a lot more evidence for their going there than not, I don't care what some scholar from Christianity Today might say.
Animals are innocent. Plain and simple. They never sinned, they were just the recipients of the curse because of man's sin. But they themselves are not guilty so why would they not have eternal life? Why were they on Noah's Ark if God didn't have an eternal plan for them? Seems like a no-brainer to me but of course no one wants to go out on a limb with this.
Most people of course say somewhere Jesus is riding a white horse so there must be animals there. Of course there will be animals there. Will our pets be there? Why wouldn't our pets be there? There's about one verse of Scripture that says something about animals perishing and apparently it's differently translated in the Hebrew Bible or something like that. Besides, the rest of the Bible is full of evidence for their eternal life.
Besides that, is God love or not? Why would he go to the trouble of creating these lovely creatures for us to enjoy and then just destroy them? That doesn't even happen in the physical world. "Matter cannot be created or destroyed." Heaven's a big place and God's a big God. Please, this is not for argumentation. Just saying,
Can you imagine animals repenting of their sins before they can go to heaven? I can't. People yes, animals no. If people say nasty things on here I will just pull the whole thing.
