What is the lens through which I view the world?

Got to thinking about this earlier today. What is the lens through which I view the world?

1. Is it accomplishments?

2. Visible success?

3. Material acquisitions?

4. Financial prosperity?

5. Monetary security?

Job security?

6. Artistic or aesthetic?

7. Outstanding skill or expertise in some area?

8. Power?

9. Prestige?

10. Making my dreams come true?

11. Having a relationship/sharing my life with somebody?

12. Popularity?

You could probably list more.

And then I ask myself what is the lens through which God views the word?

And what is the lens through which God would like me to view the world?
