Will I Remember Lost Friends And Loved Ones in Heaven?

Isaiah 65:17 says,“For behold, I create new heavens

and a new earth,

and the former things shall not be remembered

or come into mind."

If that is true, I understand that to mean I will not remember this life. I also understand there will be no tears in heaven, no sorrow, etc. Therefore, I won't remember the lost friends and loved ones who did not believe and repent and come to Christ. I am glad because that would be bitter agony throughout eternity, and heaven could not be like that.

That is the worst case scenario. I think a better one is to believe the word of God, that he will deal with the hearts of all for whom we are praying. Although he is perfect and just, he won't interfere with their free will, however. That's the part I find disturbing. Still, he is God and he has that right.

So, what is the answer? Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep loving. Keep growing. Fall deeper in love with Jesus and be more dedicated to the Truth.
