I Know Why God Hates Divorce!
My ex can still break my heart after being divorced for 37 years. This year he is doing it by not talking to me on the phone after putting a picture of a van in my message stream (like one I had when we were together). He also sometimes posts songs we used to listen to. He won't reply to texts and he won't call me on the phone which we have done at least once practically every year since we got divorced. I truly know why God hates divorce.
I thought we were friends quote unquote sorta. I unfriended him on Facebook because I got tired of seeing him getting engaged and pictures of him with different women. And now I have gotten a pretty good picture of why I divorced him in the first place though. Would appreciate your prayers for me to "wash that man right outta my hair" once and for all!!!
He is just so busy all he can do is remind me of my past once a year and then ignore me. I'm mad at myself for responding. God forgave me for divorcing him a long time ago. My prayer is that he would just leave me alone and that I would get to the place where nothing he does or does not do bothers me.
Last I checked I was still human and it hurts to have someone you care for be so cold but I guess he must have been like that always or else we would still be together and I would be more miserable than ever...!!! Oh, well, you know what I mean.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16
