An 'Old' Story

True Story

I was absent yesterday. One 1st grader said, "I thought you were dead." I asked why. "Because you'e old," answered another.

Day two of the "old" story:

Today one little girl says, "You look nice today." I was feeling better.

Then a little boy says, "I can tell that you're old."'
I ask, "How?"

He says, "Because you have old skin...and gray hair." I said, "Could you still tell I was old if I had black hair?" He said, "Yes."

Like I said...they KNOW.
