A friend sent me a card after I lost my 17yr cat companion ... I wanted to share the sentiment expressed on it with you: "Once you've had a cat's (or dog's) affection, you'll always have a heart connection. It's hard to lose the one who was always there when you needed comfort, who made you laugh when you least expected it, who reminded you of the meaning of unconditional love again and again. Deepest sympathies in the loss of a loyal friend who meant so much." I am very sorry that you have lost your best friend. I understand the loss and grief you feel. Lean into God's loving arms...
